KOTA BAHARU, Now 25 (Bernama) -- A total of 107 branches in the Pengkalan Chepa Umno division will reconvene their delegates' meeting on Thursday.
The meeting will be monitored by Umno Kelantan Liaison Committee, said Pengkalan Chepa Umno division head Datuk Dr Nik Zain Omar.
"I have received a letter from Umno headquarters asking us to reconvene the meetings after they were postponed on Nov 1.
"I hope the meetings will be conducted in an orderly manner by observing the rules," he said when contacted Tuesday.
Umno headquarters has directed the branch meetings to be held again following protests from members.
Meanwhile, Tanah Merah Umno division will only be able to reconvene its delegates' meeting after the court decided on an injunction served by a member, said division Youth chief Almidi Jaafar.
